I'm Michael, a voice coach, singer and broadcaster. Trained in a unique combination of approaches - CVT, CoreSinging, Voiceworks and Autogenic Training - with a Master's in Teaching and Coaching (CSSD - Distinction). I love working where vocal technique meets psychology and research, helping people express themselves freely and confidently.
My coaching work covers a huge range: TV actors (singing and accents), dialect coaching on film, West End singers, public speaking coaching for lawyers and the charity sector... I've even coached international metalcore singers learning to grunt safely on tour!
I've taught masterclasses at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and for Clinical Excellence Networks (Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists), and presented research on accents, dialects and character voices at the World Voice Consortium Congress. I also still perform and broadcast regularly - recent projects include 'Story Time' and 'Mas Fhìor' for BBC Alba.
